  1. Day 1 Departure from Iasi to Kishinev

In order to begin this adventure, our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Iași and you will start the journey to Kishinev, the capital city of the Republic of Moldova. On your way to the capital, you will discover the history of Moldova’s most beautiful monasteries, Hâncu and Căpriana.

Your next destination is Kishinev, where you will take a city tour and discover it’s main attractions. The Triumphal Arch was built in 1841 and many tourists call it the ”Holy Gates of Kishinev”. You will then take a stroll through the park of the city and you will learn about Stephen the Great, the noble symbol of Moldova’s medieval past. You will also stop at the cottage of Russia’s national poet, Alexander Pushkin, the place where he lived for 3 years during his exile.

After the city tour, your guide will take you to the hotel for check-in and lunch.

Next on the itinerary is the famous Cricova Winery, situated at a depth of 50-80 meters, representing a real underground city. The Moldovan wine cellars where Vladimir Putin keeps his wine are so big that you need to drive through them. Considered to be the pearl of Moldovan winemaking, Cricova is the founder of production of high-quality elite wines. Here you will have the chance to see the underground city, taste the best Moldovan wines and also buy some as a souvenir.

    Overnight in Kishinev.

  2. Day 2 Kishinev – Old Orhei – Iasi

We will start the day with an early drive to the Old Orhei Museum Complex, located in a rocky gorge at a depth of more than 200 meters. It represents one of the most famous areas with vestiges of establishing different civilizations on the perimeter of Moldova. It is one of the two places in the world where the ruins of the city were preserved during the age of the Golden Horde. The stone caverns on the site have witnessed the presence of the first human settlements in the area.

The highlight of the day is the Palanca Village, a place where ancient traditions have been kept alive for hundreds of years. We will visit the ‘Parents House’, a household from the 1900’s where Mrs. Tatiana will delight us with some of the best traditional Moldovan dishes you will ever taste.

After lunch, you will have the opportunity to craft your own hand-made bracelet to remind you of your trip to Moldova.

In the evening we will reach Iași, and your tour will come to an end.
