DAY 01: Bucharest (City Tour) – Therme

Begin your tour with a deep dive into Romania’s history on a full-day city tour, featuring visits to iconic landmarks such as the Palace of Parliament, Ceausescu's Residence, and Revolution Square. Gain a deeper understanding of the country’s rich past and cultural heritage.

 

Start your day with a panoramic tour of Bucharest, followed by a visit to the renowned Therme Bucharest. Treat yourself to a full day of relaxation and rejuvenation at this world-class spa, perfect for unwinding in luxurious surroundings.

DAY 02: Bucharest – Salina Slanic (Salt Therapy Breathing Techniques) – Sinaia

Start your day with a hearty breakfast before your guide picks you up from the hotel for an unforgettable journey into the Carpathian Mountains.

 

Your first stop is the Slănic Salt Mine, where you’ll descend deep into the earth for a one-of-a-kind experience. By noon, you’ll emerge from the salt mine feeling refreshed and continue your journey to Sinaia, one of Romania's most enchanting mountain resorts. Known as the "Pearl of the Carpathians", Sinaia is nestled in the majestic Bucegi Mountains and offers pristine mountain air, breathtaking scenery, and a royal legacy that has captivated visitors for centuries. In the late afternoon, visit the iconic Peleș Castle, a stunning Neo-Renaissance masterpiece commissioned by King Carol I in the late 19th century. Once the summer residence of the Romanian royal family, the castle is a true architectural gem and one of Romania’s most beloved landmarks.

Continue your journey to Viscri, a picturesque UNESCO World Heritage Saxon village that showcases the simplicity and charm of traditional rural life. Explore its Fortified Church, a remarkable example of Saxon heritage, and learn about King Charles of England’s efforts in promoting and preserving this cultural gem.

Enjoy a delicious lunch made from local products, and, if desired, take a horse-drawn carriage ride through the village to experience travel the way ancestors once did. Witness artisanal crafts like hand-knitted wool socks, pottery, and carpentry, and take home authentic souvenirs as reminders of this special place.

In the afternoon, arrive in Sighisoara, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Europe’s best-preserved medieval citadels. DAY 06: Sighisoara – Trekking Day On Via Transilvanica – Apold (lunch with a local) – Sibiu

After breakfast, bid farewell to Sibiu and embark on a scenic journey back to Bucharest, Romania’s dynamic capital. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you travel from the heart of Transylvania to the bustling charm of the country’s southern regions.

Along the way, take in the picturesque views of rolling hills, lush forests, and traditional villages, offering a final glimpse of Romania’s natural beauty.

Upon arrival in Bucharest, you’ll be transferred to the airport, marking the end of your unforgettable journey.
