Explore the traditional and picturesque mountain villages

Itinerary

You will be picked up from the Charles de Gaulle Square – Herastrau Entrance Tube in Bucharest and we will begin our off-road adventure by heading to Prahova Valley, Romania’s most popular tourist area and a key destination for winter sports lovers. After we reach the Bucegi Mountains Plateau and start exploring the area in the company of Romanian natives who’ll share interesting facts about the history, geography, flora, and fauna. The Bolboci Lake, also called the sea from Bucegi, is situated at an altitude of 1438 meters and the views from up there are spectacular. Our next attraction is Scropoasa Lake, located at 1197 meters in Ialomita Valley, a crystalline water in the mountains.

Our off-road adventure continues to a place called Transylvania's amphitheater where you will be introduced to the local traditions, you will discover an animal farm and be a witness to the preparations of food and drinks following well-kept recipes passed from generation to generation.

Next, in our off-road adventure, we will reach the traditional and picturesque mountain villages Magura and Pestera. Here you can observe the shepherds who live in isolation most of the year, relying on specially trained dogs to defend them from the attacks of wolves and bears.

Everywhere in our tour, you will be amazed by the gorgeous landscape offered by the Piatra Craiului and Bucegi Mountains.

In the evening we will return to Bucharest.
