Discover Romania throught their eyes - Travel Blogger in Romania

Romania is a destination that charms the hearts of all who dare to explore it. Medieval castles perched on top of steep cliffs, villages that appear to have just stepped out of the middle ages, and centuries-old myths and legends make Romania a land of fairy tales. In order to find out what Romania looks like to a foreigner, we talked with a few travel bloggers who visited our country. In the following weeks, we will discover their stories, their experiences, and their motivation for visiting Romania.

Justin | The Velvet Rocket

Justin is a blogger who loves wild destinations. He visited Romania for the first time together with his mother when he was just 2 years old, and he returned several years later to explore and discover it.

 

Elena | Imagineth

Elena is a travel blogger who prefers experiencing the local culture rather than just passing through a country for a couple of days. She lived in Romania for over six years and visited more than sixty countries, most of them in Africa.

 

Kirstie | Venga, Vale, Vamos

Kirstie is a traveller, blogger, and digital marketer. She started travelling the world as a budget backpacker and freelancer and visited 40 countries.

 

Jonny | Don't Stop Living

Jonny is a traveling Northern Irishman that's passionate about people, places, travel, history, culture, beer, and football. He currently lives in Poland, but since 2003 he visited all 7 continents and over 150 countries.

Tim started as a long-term backpacker, and now he is a full-time travel writer, a husband, and a father. He has been quoted as a budget travel expert in more than 50 major media outlets, and his blog won numerous awards.

 

Alyson | World Travel Family

In 2012, Alyson and her husband decided to show the world to their kids, and they have been on the road ever since. In 2015, they planned to visit Nepal, but due to the tragic earthquake, they decided to visit Romania, and they fell in love with the country.

 

Dalene & Pete | Hecktic Travels

Dalene & Pete started travelling in 2009, and for almost 8 years, they have been constantly on the road, teaching unprivileged children to swim, riding camels in the Sahara Desert, and kayaking among icebergs in Greenland. Their amazing life story can teach you about living on the road, dealing with personal problems, growing a business, and more.

Brenna has been on the road since April of 2006, and she visited all of the continents except Antarctica. She has traveled to more than 90 countries, and she is now writing her first book.

 

Lauren | Never Ending Footsteps

Lauren has been traveling the world for 5 years, and she visited over 60 countries, spending most of her time in Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand, the United States, and Mexico. Her goal is to travel around the world forever and since 2011 she has been writing on her blog about her travels.
